„Tying in with my ongoing corpus of self-portraiture work, this daily intuitive practice is the result of a compulsive investigation into a question I asked my mom when I was a kid : could I have been abused as a child? Through a performative play, I seek to challenge the notions of power dynamics, invasion of privacy, and voyeurism. Echoing the Jungian psychoanalysis I underwent at the same time, centered on the spontaneous evocation of images and free associations, I explore with this project the possibilities of photography to translate a potentially constructed memory or, by doing so, to eventually betray it by constructing a new one.“
